Mother In Law’s New Computer
Dave’s mother-in-law, Barb, finally decided to join the digital age and bought a high-end laptop. Knowing Dave was a "computer guy," she called him over to help her set up her first email account and a secure password.
"Okay, Barb," Dave said, sitting at the kitchen table. "We need a password that’s hard to guess but easy for you to remember. It should be something that makes you think of something strong and intimidating."
Barb thought for a moment, typed for a few seconds, and then hit the enter key. Suddenly, the computer started beeping loudly, and a red warning box popped up on the screen.
Dave leaned in to look at the error message. It read: "Error. Password Rejected. Please try again."
"What did you type?" Dave asked, baffled by the system error.
Barb huffed and crossed her arms. "I typed 'MY MOTHER IN LAW.' And the computer had the nerve to tell me it was too short!"
