First Escalator Trip

A hillbilly and his son from the deep woods decided to take a trip to the big city. They wandered into a massive shopping mall, staring in awe at the glass buildings and bright lights. Eventually, they stopped in front of two shiny silver doors that kept sliding open and shut.

"Paw, what’s that?" the boy asked.

The father, never having seen an elevator, shook his head. "I don’t know, son. I ain't never seen nothing like it."

Just then, a very old, frail woman in a wheelchair rolled up to the doors. They slid open, she moved inside, and the doors closed. The father and son watched the little lights above the door go up, then back down. A few seconds later, the doors slid open again, and out stepped a stunning, twenty-five-year-old blonde fashion model.

The father’s eyes went wide as he nudged his son. "Quick, boy! Go get your mother!"
