Cat Watching the Mouse All Day

I noticed my cat had been sitting on my laptop all day, completely focused on the screen.

Not sleeping. Not knocking things over. Just… staring.

At first, I thought something was wrong. This is a cat that usually naps 18 hours and only wakes up to demand food or cause chaos.

So I asked my friend, “Why is my cat suddenly so interested in my computer?”

He looked over, nodded, and said, “Makes sense.”

I said, “What do you mean?”

He pointed at the screen.

“Your cat is just doing his job.”

“What job?”

He shrugged.

“Keeping an eye on the mouse.”

I paused.

Then I realized… he hadn’t blinked in 20 minutes.

Honestly, I think he’s up for a promotion.
